I love to travel! I am grateful that I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel and experience different places and cultures in my life, both for work and pleasure. Travel brings me a sense of joy and fulfillment that is hard to measure – I love meeting new people, seeing places I’ve always dreamt of and immersing myself in different cultures. It has helped me grow as a person, expand my view of the world and appreciate people across the globe.
A lot of friends and family ask where I’ve had the best experiences, and it’s hard for me to choose my favorite. Over time I’ve found myself crying in front of the Pieta at the Vatican, attending a musical in the West End of London straight from Heathrow, and experiencing a six-hour whirlwind tour of Paris. The Hawaiian Islands provided me the opportunity to expand on my love of nature, while islands like St. Martin and the US Virgin Islands forced me to learn to relax and find some inner peace. Mexico, Canada, and a well-traveled list of states here at home while traveling for my prior career all have given me great insights as well. And Disney. (Sigh…) I should admit here that I am a Disney Addict. My family would say this is a major understatement, but I’ll wait until you know me better to expand on the many, many ways I love Walt Disney World. I’ve lost count of how many times I have landed at Orlando International. 🙂
While I am new to the travel industry, my years in the financial world have given me many of the skills I need to be the best travel professional I can be. My focus on being a servant leader – really listening to people to understand their needs, finding creative ways to solve problems, and helping people and teams expand and develop – these are the skills that will help me deliver exceptional customer service and find ways to make your travel even more joyful and memorable than my own.
