Ever since I was a little girl I had an interest in travel. I would collect the postcard books that my grandparents brought back to me from their travels and I kept them in a special box that I loved to pull out and flip through. As I traveled with my family I started collecting postcards on my own and pictures, maps, and other mementos of my travels.
Believe it or not, I still have those postcards and every once in awhile I’ll bring them out and flip through smiling at the memories they bring back. Although I might not collect postcards anymore I collect photos, stories, and information on my travels. I love to soak up a destination, reveling in the local food life.
I absolutely love sharing my travel stories, foodie moments and special encounters. I’ve renewed my wedding vows on a cruise ship, relaxed on a beach in the Dominican Republic and been to the top of the Eiffel Tower. I’ve made a career of planning travel for others, helping them experience the world, create their own memories collect their own mementos. My clients will also find that I am active in my local Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Board and Military Affairs Council Board.
While I love planning travel to all destinations, I specialize in travel to the Caribbean, Destination Weddings / Honeymoons, Destination Road Races and travel for Military Families. I am a Certified Travel Associate (CTA), having earned my designation from The Travel Institute, the oldest and most respected non-profit certification organization in the travel industry.
These credentials require that I have at least 18 months of travel industry experience, complete rigorous certification and testing, and continue to fulfill stringent education credit requirements each year. Much like an accountant or doctor with their respective credentials, my CTA designation means that I am committed to upholding the highest standards of my profession while providing expert advice to my customers.

We’ve worked with Carrie a couple of times now and she always exceeds our dreams for the trip. This time we wanted to go to the Caribbean. We got a late start on planning the trip, so our initial ideas were sold out. Carrie was able to suggest some options in areas we hadn’t considered with all of the amenities that we wanted. And the prices were under budget. To top it off, Carrie was able to get a special romantic evening for us. We tell all of our friends about Carrie because we know she takes care of them.

Friendly, timely, patient, and knowledgeable!
Our family trip planning to disney/ universal studios has required a lot of adjustments and insider knowledge that our family just didn’t have. Carrie has made this process very easy for us!

Best way to celebrate our 29th anniversary
Carrie understood what we were looking for in a resort and a vacation. The Sandals Resort at Montego Bay was exactly what we wanted and we had the best vacation because of it. The room was perfect too and everything I had asked for.

Girls Getaway to London
Carrie has made our trip to London so much easier by making our hotel reservations ( and getting the best rate), booking our high tea, and getting us tickets to Buckingham Palace. The app that she provided of maps and attractions in the city was invaluable. We used it every day. Thanks Carrie for all your hard work.

Carrie did an amazing job. I didn’t have to worry about the ins and outs of our vacation. This was our first time on a vacation out of the country and she answered all my questions too put my mind at ease. After we got to the resort i had forgotten papers for our excursions and we were having problems with the wi-fi and she confirmed all our excursions for us right away. I don’t know what we would have done without her. She went above and beyond for us and it’s greatly appreciated?

Hi Carrie!! Just a heartfelt thanks again for all your help in planning our trip! It was an amazing trip, so very magical and we will certainly never forget it! It was so wonderful to have all the extra tips and tricks in our itinerary…we checked out some of your recommended food choices and truly loved it all! And the added touches…the welcome gift for the kids was a HUGE hit, the character suggestions for meet and greets were fun (when we remembered to do them 😂), and the recommendation for place to stay was amazing! I think overall, our favorite perk was Epcot!
The kids and adults really enjoyed everything it has to offer! Our favorite meal was brown derby and Teppan Edo in Japan (the kids LOVED the hibachi!). Our resort was a 4.9/5 (Wilderness Lodge). My only downside was, they closed roaring forks after the first day and it was a bit confusing for a day or two to figure out where to go for snacks, drink refills and quick service on site. We figured it all out by asking- the staff was wonderful! The pool is great…it’s an excellent resort for kids, and we loved the travel options for magic kingdom using the boat and a quick ride to contemporary to pick up the monorail.
I think as a group the consensus is favorite ride: Soarin at Epcot. But overall, the best memories were made watching our kiddos faces as they experienced the characters, rode the rides and took in all the sites! I will never forget their faces and enjoyment throughout the whole experience! So many thanks…
